Job summary

Martin Marietta is seeking a plant maintenance/mechanic to inspect, diagnose, and repair rock crusher systems and fixed plant equipment across our sites. You will perform preventative maintenance, fabricate and weld as needed, and support safe, efficient plant operations.

The role requires reading instructions, using hand and power tools, and coordinating with supervisors. Must have 1+ year in heavy-duty maintenance, a high school diploma or GED, and the ability to work 8–12 hour shifts,

Qualifications

• 1+ years experience in heavy-duty maintenance
• High School Diploma or GED required
• Welding and fabrication experience preferred

Responsibilities

• Perform preventative maintenance on stationary equipment
• Inspect and repair pumps and conveyors
• Operate welding equipment and perform fabrication
• Maintain housekeeping and safety standards
• Coordinate with supervisors on maintenance backlog
