Job summary

Qualifications

• 1+ years experience related to heavy duty maintenance job or equivalent training and experience, preferably in aggregates industry.
• High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent experience preferred.
• Must be able to read and write and communicate effectively.
• Proficiency with oxy/acetylene torch and stick welding; MIG a plus.

Responsibilities

• Ensure a safe work environment at all times and prioritize SAFETY, then QUALITY, followed by PRODUCTION.
• Maximize performance of stationary equipment by performing repairs and ensuring preventative maintenance is completed on a timely basis.
• Inspect and ensure maintenance tasks are logged and completed according to Martin Marietta standards.
• Trains and coaches other employees on maintenance practices; assist with parts ordering as needed.
