Job summary

Quality Talent Group is seeking a hands-on Maintenance Technician for a leading building automation and industrial technology client. You will maintain plant equipment, inspect condition and perform repairs to keep systems in peak readiness, and respond to emergencies to resolve safety concerns.

Requirements include at least two years in mechanical repair in heavy industry, knowledge of electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic systems, and experience with lock-out/tag-out and welding.

Qualifications

• High School diploma/GED.
• Minimum of two (2) years experience in mechanical repair, installation, and construction in heavy industry
• Working knowledge of basic electrical, mechanical, hydraulic and pneumatic systems
• Lock-Out/Tag-Out experience
• Welding experience

Responsibilities

• Maintaining plant equipment in a state of readiness
• Inspects condition and operation of plant equipment and performs necessary repairs and adjustments
• Completes work orders in a timely manner; installing, repairing and fabricating materials out of metal
• Performs the appropriate plant equipment inspections, repairs and preventative maintenance
• Responds to emergency situations as needed for the purpose of resolving immediate safety concerns
