Job summary

The maintenance technician will handle preventative maintenance, inspections and repairs on plant equipment, while adhering to safety policies. Strong overtime flexibility will be needed for on-site operations.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum of two (2) years' experience in mechanical repair, installation, and construction in heavy industry.
• Must have a working knowledge of basic mechanical aptitude, general plant maintenance experience.
• Proficient in hydraulic, electrical and pneumatic systems.
• Ability to work overtime.

Responsibilities

• Schedules and performs preventative maintenance on plant equipment.
• Inspects condition and operation of plant equipment and performs necessary repairs.
• Performs required emergency repairs on production equipment.
• Adheres to all safety, environmental and company policies and procedures.
• Routinely walk the plant to inspect mechanical equipment and parts.
