Job summary

Jobot is seeking a permanent Plant Manager to lead all plant operations in the paper/fabric technology sector, driving production of innovative technologies while upholding quality and safety standards.

This high-impact role requires a Six Sigma Black Belt, strong budgeting acumen, and proven leadership across cross-functional teams in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. Relocation assistance is available to Ruston, LA.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business Management, or related field. Master's degree preferred.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in a plant management role in manufacturing, preferably in paper/fabric technology.
• Certified Six Sigma Black Belt with proven experience in driving continuous improvement initiatives.
• Experience budgeting and financial management.
• Strong leadership skills with a track record of developing high-performing teams.
• Proficient in quality control processes and regulatory compliance in manufacturing.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the day-to-day operations of the plant, ensuring production schedules are met while maintaining quality and safety.
• Develop, implement, and manage KPIs for each area of responsibility.
• Set the strategy for continuous improvement initiatives using Six Sigma and lead execution.
• Manage the plant's budget and identify opportunities for cost savings.
• Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and maintain a culture of quality control.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate product requirements into efficient processes.
• Develop and nurture a culture of excellence and accountability within the team.

Salary: $140,000 - $160,000 per year

Responsibilities:
