Job summary

WireCo WorldGroup is seeking a Plant Manager to oversee daily manufacturing operations in Sedalia, MO, ensuring safety, quality, delivery, and cost targets are met. You will drive Lean and continuous improvement initiatives, manage budgets, and collaborate with planning, sourcing, and commercial teams.

The role requires 8+ years in a high-volume environment, strong leadership, and ERP experience (SAP/QAD/Infor).

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED is required.
• Minimum 8 years of senior level experience in a high volume manufacturing environment.
• Demonstrated experience in strategic objective planning, budgeting and P&L management.
• Strong leadership, change management and communication skills.
• Experience with ERP systems (SAP, QAD, Infor, JDE, MS Dynamics, Epicor).
• Background in lean tools (5S, Six Sigma) and continuous improvement.
• Ability to develop and manage teams and drive continuous improvement.

Responsibilities

• Deliver plant’s operational goals for safety, quality, delivery, cost, and inventory.
• Direct production, material planning, quality, supply chain, safety, and maintenance operations.
• Set short and long-range operating objectives for manufacturing.
• Lead initiatives to improve processes aligning with WireCo Business System.
• Maintain relationships across functions to drive growth and profitability.
• Own safety culture and ensure regulatory compliance across the site.
• Lead capital projects and ensure on-time, on-budget execution.
