Job summary

Service Wire Company, a premier supplier of industrial and utility wire and cable, seeks a Manufacturing Manager in Phoenix, AZ. Lead all manufacturing operations to ensure safe, efficient production meeting quality and delivery targets.

You will drive safety culture, coordinate planning with maintenance and engineering, and provide leadership to supervisors and teams to optimize throughput and control costs.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in business or related engineering field with 5+ years of leadership in manufacturing.
• 5+ years of proven manufacturing leadership experience.
• Knowledge of wire and cable products and processes preferred.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills with ability to lead a team.

Responsibilities

• Drive our Safety Culture throughout the facility to ensure the safety of employees, visitors, and contractors.
• Coordinate production planning and execution with managers to meet manufacturing objectives in a timely, cost-effective manner.
• Promote safe work practices and demonstrate zero tolerance for non-compliance with safety policies.
• Provide leadership to accomplish company goals and direct production supervisors.
• Collaborate with Maintenance and Engineering to optimize throughput and minimize downtime.
• Establish and monitor plant performance for production and quality standards.
• Control and minimize labor overtime and supply disruptions.
• Support continuous improvement initiatives across the facility.
• Develop and revise standard operating practices and maintain a positive work environment.
• Lead, encourage and support continuous improvement projects.
• Oversee capital and operating expenditures, workforce management, and salaries.
