Job summary

Enhance Recruiting in Warrenton, Missouri is seeking a Plant Manager to lead manufacturing operations, drive continuous improvement, and manage plant performance across production, maintenance, quality, and purchasing. The role focuses on strategic execution, product development, and end-to-end operational excellence.

The candidate will guide sales relations, develop new products, and foster a strong safety culture while aligning with company values and growth objectives.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering or business-related field.
• Eight (8) years plant management experience, leading a production team.
• Experience in converting or papermill packaging manufacturing is a must (plastics, bottles, corrugated).
• Certified in Lean Manufacturing and / or Six Sigma.
• Skilled in updating processes/continuous improvement, change management, and applying lean manufacturing principles.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office suite and SAP.

Responsibilities

• Report to the General Manager and oversee the plant's manufacturing operations.
• Oversee production, maintenance, quality management, continuous improvement, and purchasing.
• Involved in sales and customer relationships management as well as new product development.
• Elaborate and achieve the plant’s strategic plan and improve operations and equipment for market share growth.
• Improve existing products and develop new ones to ensure long-term viability.
• Implement management systems to optimize activities and achieve quality, profitability, efficiency, and safety goals.
• Lead the management team in the growth and development of the facility.
• Apply company values and philosophy into daily operations.
