Job summary

Bass Pro Shops is seeking a Plant Manager to lead daily manufacturing operations, optimize safety, quality, delivery and cost, and drive lean transformation across the site. You will develop budgets, master plans, and a culture of craftsmanship, mentoring Outfitters and cross-functional teams while partnering with HR to hire, train and develop talent.

This leadership role requires 10+ years in manufacturing and a Bachelor’s degree, with a proven ability to manage large teams and drive continuous

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience.
• 10+ years in a manufacturing environment with large teams.
• Valid driver’s license and compliance with driving requirements.

Responsibilities

• Directs EHS, production, quality, materials management and engineering activities.
• Leads planning and utilization of lean tools to improve operations.
• Develops a 5-year factory master plan and oversees maintenance of buildings/equipment.
• Leads cultural transformation and drives a pride-in-craftsmanship culture.
• Builds strong relationships with Outfitters and ensures accountability.
• Develops monthly supply plan as part of S&OP and budgets.
• Ensures safety, quality, delivery, and cost targets are met.
• Develops leadership team and HR initiatives for hiring and development.
• All other duties as assigned.
