Job summary

Altium Packaging in York, PA seeks a Plant Manager to lead daily manufacturing operations, drive safety, quality, and efficiency, and deploy strategies to meet financial and production goals. You will oversee multiple plant leaders and hourly staff across shifts.

Key responsibilities include championing Lean practices, optimizing schedules, and maintaining GMP compliance while fostering a culture of engagement and accountability. Strong P&L experience and strategic leadership are essential.

Qualifications

• Minimum 7 years manufacturing experience with progressive leadership responsibilities.
• Demonstrated leadership capabilities; able to motivate a diverse workforce.
• Previous P&L experience.
• Experience working in Lean Manufacturing Environment.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel to report and track key metrics.
• Strong communication skills.
• Ability to work in multi-shift environment.

Responsibilities

• Champion a safety culture and maintain a safe work environment.
• Drive continuous improvement through Lean practices and efficient operations.
• Create value by timely production scheduling to meet requirements.
• Provide coaching and direction to ensure productive plant operations.
• Maintain accurate inventory of finished goods and raw materials.
• Lead with Altium's Guiding Principles to engage employees.
• Ensure GMP compliance and corporate quality requirements.
• Support successful new product launches with clear specs and processes.
• Drive maintenance programs for equipment and facilities.
• Develop staff and hourly personnel through onboarding and training.
• Execute assigned projects to meet deadlines.
