Job summary

Altium Packaging in York, PA is seeking a production supervisor to direct and monitor activities of production personnel and manage resources used in manufacturing of packaging solutions. Strong leadership and adherence to safety and quality standards are required.

Candidates should have at least 3 years in manufacturing with 1 year in a supervisory role; a High School diploma is required, AS degree preferred. Knowledge of blow/injection molding and union environments is a plus.

Qualifications

• 3 years experience in a manufacturing environment with at least 1 year in a supervisory or leadership role.
• AS degree is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Direct and monitor activities of production personnel and manages resources employed in manufacturing of packaging solutions.
• Lead by practicing our Company’s Guiding Principles and culture, championing safety, quality, production and financial results.
• Manage the employee performance cycle, including interviewing candidates, training and development of team members, coaching, counseling, and employment discharge.
• Demonstrate correct process, provide instruction and maintain documentation; act as a Change Agent to drive continuous improvement.
