Job summary

WoodMaster Portable Buildings, a division of Tuff Shed, Inc., seeks a Plant Manager responsible for daily plant operations, safety, quality, and productivity. You will lead production planning, SOP implementation, and cross-functional collaboration to meet customer demand while controlling costs.

The role requires 8+ years in manufacturing with leadership, strong analytical and team development skills, and a focus on continuous improvement. Occasional weekend hours may be required.

Qualifications

• 8+ years in manufacturing with leadership experience.
• Bachelor's degree in operations management or related field preferred.
• Strong leadership, communication and problem solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Leads and manages all manufacturing plant operations to ensure timely production of high quality products.
• Trains, leads and develops the Assistant Plant Manager and Plant Maintenance.
• Oversees training, development, mentoring and coaching of plant team members.
• Collaborates with supply chain and procurement to ensure materials availability.
• Implements and optimizes SOPs to enhance efficiency, productivity and safety.
• Develops and oversees production plans and schedules to meet demand and inventory targets.
• Monitors production metrics and drives continuous improvement.
