Job summary

Rev-A-Shelf is seeking a seasoned Plant Leader to manage the entire production facility in Elkhart, IN. You will direct operations and functional departments, set KPIs, and ensure safe, efficient, and cost-effective manufacturing.

The role emphasizes Lean manufacturing, continuous improvement, and cross-functional collaboration with sales and service teams. Budget responsibility and capital project oversight are included.

Qualifications

• Bachelor degree in Engineering, Operations Management, Business, Manufacturing, or related field.
• 7+ years of progressive manufacturing leadership experience.
• Experience leading production, maintenance, supply chain, and engineering functions.
• Strong knowledge of Lean Manufacturing and continuous improvement methodologies.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Proficient with ERP/MRP systems and Microsoft Office applications.

Responsibilities

• Provide leadership and direction for all plant operations and functional departments.
• Establish and monitor KPIs related to safety, quality, productivity, delivery, inventory, and cost.
• Lead production activities to meet customer demand and operational objectives.
• Oversee inventory management to optimized levels throughout manufacturing.
• Direct scheduling activities to optimize production flow and resource utilization.
• Manage shipping and logistics operations to achieve on-time customer delivery.
• Lead preventive and predictive maintenance programs to maximize equipment uptime.
• Drive manufacturing quality and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Champion Lean Manufacturing, waste reduction, and process improvement efforts.
• Develop annual operating budgets and manage departmental spending.
• Ensure compliance with safety, environmental, and company regulations.
• Recruit, develop, coach, and evaluate department managers and supervisors.
• Lead capital projects and equipment improvement initiatives.
• Work closely with sales, customer service, and leadership teams to support business objectives.
• Perform other duties and special projects as assigned.
