Job summary

UFP Industries’ ProWood facility in Harrisonville, Missouri seeks a Plant Manager to lead operations, safety, quality, and financial performance.

You will build and coach teams, manage production, maintenance, shipping, and inventory, and drive continuous improvement in a fast-paced lumber processing environment.

The role requires strategic leadership, hands-on execution, and strong communication with regional management to meet safety, quality, and customer commitments.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required; Bachelor's degree preferred.
• Experience leading supervisors, managers, or multiple departments in manufacturing.
• Experience managing production schedules, staffing, quality, inventory, maintenance, shipping, and performance.

Responsibilities

• Lead, develop, and coach plant management and supervisory teams.
• Establish safety as the top priority and ensure OSHA compliance.
• Direct daily operations to achieve production, quality, and cost goals.
• Monitor KPI performance and drive continuous improvement programs.
• Coordinate with departments to meet customer requirements and schedules.
• Oversee inventory, shipping, and yard operations.
