Job summary

Tuff Shed Inc. is seeking an experienced Production Manager to lead our manufacturing facility's operations. You will supervise the production foreman and staff, manage daily labor planning, and ensure safety and quality in all activities.

The role involves recruitment, inventory control, and occasional on-site warranty work to resolve customer issues. We value hands-on leaders with strong organizational and communication skills, capable of coordinating with store management and subcontractors

Qualifications

• Minimum of two years of construction or manufacturing experience.
• Significant experience in safety management.
• Experience supervising employees and resolving employee relations issues.
• Hands-on experience in a fast-paced retail/operations environment with quality products and service.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office and CRM systems.

Responsibilities

• Supervising the Production Foreman and production employees.
• Performing manual tasks related to Store Operations, like loading trucks and fabricating buildings.
• Overseeing daily planning and scheduling of Operations labor and materials.
• Recruitment of Production roles with store management, including Prefabricators.
• Ensuring tools and equipment are secured, inventoried and maintained; meeting safety requirements.
• Overseeing hardware allocation and inventory.
• Handling warranty issues and on-site repairs to satisfy customers.
• Inspecting completed buildings and providing feedback on performance, safety and quality.
• Participating in production safety training and national safety conference calls.
• Leading work-related injury investigations as directed by Store Manager.
• Assisting with performance management and career development of production staff.
• Resolving problems among store production employees and updating GM/DM on decisions.
• Assisting GM/DM with monthly cycle counts and ongoing inventory management.
