Job summary

Oldcastle APG in Franklin, NC seeks a Plant Manager to lead a production team, manage budgets, safety, and bottom-line results at a fast-paced manufacturing site. The role emphasizes production flow, cost control, and environmental compliance in a hands-on leadership position.

The role requires a strong background in manufacturing planning, P&L experience, and excellent communication. Onsite responsibilities include coordinating with multiple departments and ensuring reliable customer service

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent of ten years of progressive related experience.
• Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical or Industrial Engineering is a plus.
• Experience in planning, negotiating and organizational skills.
• Strong leadership and team-building abilities.
• Solid computer skills and written/oral communication.

Responsibilities

• Plan and schedule production activities and supervise the production process.
• Oversee maintenance of equipment and manage preventive maintenance program.
• Control inventory, counts and audits.
• Maintain health, safety, quality, productivity, and environmental compliance.
• Estimate production costs and ensure high quality and customer service.
• Monitor product standards and implement quality control programs.
• Optimize transportation/logistics usage.
• Coordinate with suppliers, sales, and customers to meet organizational goals.
• Ensure the business meets expected financial returns.
• Ensure compliance with local and federal environmental regulations.
• Perform other duties as needed.
