Job summary

Oldcastle APG, a CRH Company, seeks a Plant Manager to lead a production team at the Franklin, NC site, overseeing daily operations, safety, and budget adherence.

The role emphasizes production flow optimization, cost control, and strong leadership across departments to meet financial goals and quality standards. Onsite work at the Franklin facility is required, with competitive benefits and career growth opportunities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent of at least ten years of progressive related experience and/or training.
• Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical or Industrial Engineering is a plus.
• Experience in planning, negotiating and organizational skills.
• Prior P&L experience.
• Solid computer skills and written/oral communication.

Responsibilities

• Plan and schedule production activities, and supervise the production process.
• Oversees maintenance of all equipment including managing downtime and ability to maintain a preventative maintenance program.
• Responsible for inventory control, counts and audits.
• Strong commitment to health, safety, quality, productivity, housekeeping, maintenance and environmental compliance.
• Estimating production costs, maintaining high quality standards and ensuring good customer service.
• Monitor product standards and implement quality control programs.
• Responsible for maximizing the use of transportation/logistics.
• Working with different departments (e.g. suppliers, sales, customers) effectively to execute the policies and goals of the organization.
• Ensure the business meets expected financial returns.
• Ensures compliance with all local and federal environmental regulations.
