Job summary

Oldcastle APG, a CRH company, is seeking a Plant Manager to lead a fast-paced manufacturing facility in Franklin, NC. You will oversee daily production, safety, budgets and material costs while driving bottom-line results.

The role requires a Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience, leadership skills, and strong planning and cost-estimation capabilities. Onsite work at the Franklin site is required with responsibilities spanning cross-functional collaboration.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent with related experience.
• Engineering degree is a plus.
• Experience in planning, negotiation and organizational skills.
• Prior P&L experience.
• Strong leadership and team-building skills.
• Solid computer skills and written/oral communication.

Responsibilities

• Plan and schedule production activities; supervise the production process.
• Oversee maintenance of all equipment; manage downtime and preventive maintenance.
• Manage inventory control, counts and audits.
• Commit to health, safety, quality, productivity, housekeeping and environmental compliance.
• Estimate production costs; ensure high quality standards and customer service.
• Monitor product standards and implement quality control programs.
• Maximize use of transportation and logistics.
