Job summary

Airgas, an Air Liquide company, is seeking a Plant Manager in Canton, OH to lead a team responsible for producing and repackaging compressed and liquefied gases into cylinders. You will drive safety, optimize production, and align daily tasks with customer needs and stock levels.

The role requires supervisory experience, familiarity with SAP and Google Suite, and strong leadership and problem-solving skills.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED.
• Five years of industry experience including at least two years in a supervisory role.
• Prefer experience with compressed/packaged gases.
• Bachelor's degree preferred; SAP experience preferred.
• Intermediate knowledge of Google Suite.
• Strong analytical skills with ability to use metrics to improve production efficiency.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills.
• Familiar with Airgas safety programs and regulations.

Responsibilities

• Lead and empower team to produce and repack gases into cylinders.
• Ensure safe operation and maintenance of the plant and compliance with policies and regulations.
• Collaborate to improve production methods and equipment performance.
• Schedule daily workflows and monitor stock levels and orders.
• Onboard new team members and support cross-functional learning.
