Job summary

Airgas in Canton, OH is hiring a Plant Manager to lead and empower the team responsible for producing and repackaging compressed and liquid gases into cylinders. You will ensure safe operations, meet production schedules, and align daily tasks with customer needs and stock levels.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED.
• Five years of industry experience with at least two in a supervisory role.

Responsibilities

• Lead and empower the team to produce and repackage gases into cylinders.
• Ensure safe operation and compliance with policies, procedures, regulations and laws.
• Study production schedules and adjust work procedures to meet timelines.
• Collaborate with the team to enhance production methods, equipment performance, and quality.
• Ensure safety training is scheduled, conducted and documented; investigate injuries within 24 hours.
• Mentor operational leaders and support career growth and performance management.
• Onboard new team members and support cross-functional learning.
• Maintain production records and monitor overtime; coordinate with sales for deliveries.
• Run daily cycle counts and monitor SAP reports.
