Job summary

McCormick & Company, Incorporated in Maryland's Belcamp facility is seeking a Plant Manager to lead all operations, drive continuous improvement, and ensure safe, quality products at the lowest cost. You will guide the site through HPWS/TPM integration and participate with the Americas Supply Chain leadership in planning and execution.

As the on-site senior leader, you will manage budget, facilities, equipment, and personnel, build a high-performance culture, maintain GMP compliance, and partner

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business Management, Finance or a related field.
• Minimum 12 years in manufacturing with at least 7 years in TPM/Lean manufacturing.
• Experience working in a TPM environment.
• Experience with Food Safety and GMPs.
• Proven project management skills, with the ability to participate in initiatives according to business needs and strategy.
• Demonstrated ability building and sustaining relationships at all levels required.
• Experience organizing, tracking and completing short- and long-term projects.
• Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively to resolve issues with strong influencing, diplomacy, and partnering skills.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
• Willingness and ability to work flexible hours to support the needs of a multi shift operation.

Responsibilities

• Identifies, prioritizes, plans, and directs the execution of operational related issues through Operations leaders.
• Designs strategies, procedures, and people utilization for reliability and efficiency while reducing inventory and waste.
• Creates an empowered culture with open and healthy communications.
• Ensures effective customer service and strong relationships with key customers and venders.
• Ensures compliance with policies and GMPs and maintains a safe working environment.
• Prepares and submits annual expense and capital budgets.
• Develops short and long-range facility and equipment plans (5 years).
• Drives continuous improvement to maximize productivity, reliability, quality and safety.
• Develops strong functional relationships with Procurement, Planning, Finance, Logistics, Sales and Marketing.
