Job summary

Linde Inc. seeks a Plant Manager for Texas City, TX. You will lead reliability, safety, quality, and compliance programs and manage budgets.

You will mentor staff, optimize production, and ensure regulatory and environmental standards are met while collaborating with partners and customers to maintain uninterrupted supply. The role requires extensive experience in industrial plant operations, strong leadership, and a track record of improving efficiency, safety culture, and cost performance.

Qualifications

• Ten years of experience in an industrial plant environment including production, distribution, safety, and/or plant maintenance.
• Experience directly managing and developing employees with demonstrated results.
• Knowledgeable in Process Safety Management (PSM) standards and procedures governing EPA RMP- and PSM-covered facilities.

• You will lead reliability, compliance, quality, and safety programs; ensure employees are fully trained in, committed to, and conduct their activities in accordance with all aspects of Linde policies and procedures; ensure required government and environmental regulations are met; and manage operational and capital budgets while serving as the primary point of contact for customers and joint venture partners

• Manage and elevate, as required, equipment, product quality, and delivery issues

• Monitor production and manpower levels to ensure continued efficiency while anticipating problems and developing contingency plans
• Further, manage employee performance by setting expectations, providing guidance, feedback, and development for career progression and performance improvement
• Maximize plant reliability to avoid unscheduled shutdowns resulting in interruptions to customer supply
• Drive improvements in productivity and cost savings
• Maintain a high-performing safety culture
• Ensure compliance-related activities are completed on time
• Effectively work within the matrix organization to enlist assistance from support groups
• Adhere to all corporate and plant policies, including OSHA PSM, EPA RMP, and TCEQ air, water, and waste regulations.
