Job summary

Linde plc is seeking a production team leader in Houston, TX to guide entry-level staff, ensure customer demand is met, and coordinate daily production and distribution activities. The role emphasizes safety, reliability, and continuous improvement within a unionized environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree preferred; high school diploma or GED required.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in an industrial plant environment.
• 5+ years of experience in Driver, operations, distribution or quality roles.
• At least 3 years of experience leading and developing employees.
• Willingness to work in a unionized environment is required.

Responsibilities

• Provide leadership and direction for a team of entry-level production employees to ensure customer demand is consistently met.
• Coordinate daily production activities and distribution requirements, including local delivery routes and shuttle scheduling.
• Lead reliability, compliance, quality, and safety initiatives to meet governmental and environmental regulations; ensure training of employees.

What you will enjoy doing*

• Youwill provide leadership and direction for a team of entry-level productionemployees to ensure customer demand is consistently met
• Coordinate daily production activities and distribution requirements,including local delivery routes and shuttle scheduling
• You will lead reliability, compliance, quality, and safety initiatives tomeet governmental and environmental regulations Ensure temployees are trainedand committed to Linde Safety and Quality systems, woring closely with theCompliance Manager to coordinate training
• Monitor production performance and manpower levels to maintain efficiency,anticipate problems, and develop contingencies
• Identify operational challenges and lead improvement efforts related to production processes, shift scheduling, andtraining; report progress and findings to plant management
• You will manage and escalat… maintain adequate inventory of production supplies and support 5S and LeanProjects and hazardous waste activities, continuously identifying ways toreduce plant operating costs through Operational Excellence strategies
