Job Description
The Plant Manager manages a designated facility, ensuring that all business operations are productive, efficient, safe, and meet internal and external customer expectations.
ISCO Fabrication Facility Oversight and Support
- Overall responsibility for all activities at ISCO's Fabrication Facilities.
- Ensure interaction and coordination with all organizational functions, including suppliers, to optimize production, staff utilization, facilities, and equipment.
- Resolve issues escalated from plant and sales leadership to foster win/win relationships and prompt resolution.
- Ensure compliance with production and quality standards; monitor data related to product types, quantities, specifications, and delivery dates.
- Meet established costs, quality, customer service standards, and delivery commitments.
- Maintain active employee engagement through staffing, training, involving staff in decision-making, and providing performance feedback and coaching.
- Develop team capabilities and succession plans for operational leadership.
- Review operational reports and resolve manufacturing and maintenance issues to control costs, prevent delays, and maximize profitability.
- Support plant expansion, facilities, and process improvement projects.
- Oversee safety programs and initiatives to ensure compliance with applicable laws and standards.
- Manage administrative activities related to operations data and reporting.
- Perform additional duties as assigned.
Safety and Quality Department Support
- Conduct audits as required.
- Assist in issue management and resolution.
Continuous Improvement
- Propose, collaborate on, and implement improvements to safety and operational/quality processes.
Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in business, management, engineering, or related field; Master's preferred.
- At least 10 years of leadership experience in manufacturing, warehouse, or distribution environments, including managing large remote teams.
- Understanding of ISO 9001:2015 Quality principles.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and experience with ERP systems.
- Professional Engineering or Project Management Professional certification is preferred.
