Job summary

Quality Talent Group is sourcing a Plant Operations Leader for a major mining and raw materials processing facility in the United States Midwest. The role directs planning, organizing, and control of plant operations to ensure quality production and adherence to safety standards.

You will analyze production efficiency, develop mining and production strategies to drive productivity, and manage a team of supervisors and operators to meet targets and maintain safe, compliant operations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or 5–7 years of equivalent experience.
• 5–7 years Aggregate Mining and related Raw Materials Plant Production experience.
• Field of Study: Mining Engineering or Management.
• Adhere to safety protocols and PPE.
• Must be clean shaven where the respirator seal meets the face.

Responsibilities

• Provide leadership to plan, direct, organize, coordinate and control operations.
• Ensure appropriate quality product is made at the Plant.
• Analyze and monitor production efficiency / productivity.
• Develop mining and production strategies to raise productivity levels.
• Manage performances of subordinate personnel and delegate responsibilities.
