Symbiotic Services is seeking an experienced Plant Manager to lead our Putnam, Connecticut facility. You will oversee safety, operations, budgeting, quality, and continuous improvement to deliver excellent results in temperature-controlled packaging for life sciences and healthcare.

The role reports to the VP of Manufacturing and requires a track record of leading large-scale manufacturing with strong P&L ownership, capital project delivery, and regulatory compliance.

Symbiotic Services is seeking an experienced Plant Manager to lead a manufacturing facility in Putnam, Connecticut.

Location: Putnam, CT

Work Arrangement: On-site

Compensation: Target $160,000 base, with potential flexibility to approximately $170,000 + bonus

Reports To: VP of Manufacturing

Position Summary

The Plant Manager will lead all aspects of facility operations supporting temperature-controlled packaging solutions for life sciences, healthcare, and other critical markets. This leader will be responsible for safety, operational excellence, financial performance, quality, continuous improvement, equipment reliability, and employee development.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead daily manufacturing operations across production, quality, safety, cost, and delivery.

The strongest candidates will have full plant or substantial manufacturing leadership responsibility, including safety, P&L/budget ownership, capital projects, Lean/continuous improvement, maintenance reliability, and talent development. Experience in FDA/GMP, pharmaceutical, life sciences, cold-chain, or temperature-controlled packaging environments is highly preferred.
