Job summary

Tremco Construction Products Group (CPG) is seeking a Maintenance Technician II to support daily maintenance at the Columbus plant. This role focuses on safe, efficient equipment upkeep and reliable operation to meet customer expectations.

The position requires PLC and electrical troubleshooting skills, familiarity with lockout/tagout and safety procedures, and the ability to work with diverse teams. Strong English communication is essential.

Qualifications

• Requires a 1-year certificate or equivalent, or 1+ year experience with HS diploma/GED
• Maintenance Technician II requires 1+ year of experience
• Capable of installing, programming, and troubleshooting PLC systems; AC/DC drive motors preferred
• Must read/write and communicate fluently in English

Responsibilities

• Perform standard work safely by following all rules and procedures
• Inspect and repair plant equipment including mechanical, welding, carpentry, electrical, instrumentation and controls
• Document maintenance activity records accurately
• Maintain clean and organized work areas and tools
• Participate in continuous improvement processes
• Report incidents and non-conformances through proper channels
• Coordinate maintenance supply purchases and stock levels
• Execute Preventative Maintenance Program effectively
• Cross-train on other production functions as needed
