Job summary

Tremco Construction Products Group seeks a Maintenance Technician to support day-to-day plant maintenance at the Columbus facility. You will work with production staff to keep equipment running, perform preventative maintenance, repair mechanical, electrical, and controls, and document maintenance activities.

Qualification includes a one-year certificate or higher, 3+ years maintenance experience, and ability to read English, with forklift license preferred; willingness to overtime and

Qualifications

• One-year certificate from college, technical school or manufacturing training program.
• One additional year of experience plus a high school diploma/GED in lieu of higher education is acceptable.
• Two additional years of experience in lieu of formal education is acceptable.

Responsibilities

• Perform standard work safely according to rules and procedures.
• Inspect and repair plant equipment (mechanical, welding, carpentry, electrical, instrumentation, controls).
• Document accurate maintenance activity records and keep areas/tools clean.
