Job summary

Tremco Construction Products Group is seeking a Maintenance Technician III to support day-to-day maintenance at the plant in Upatoi, GA. The role emphasizes safe, accurate maintenance of mechanical, electrical, and control systems and requires collaboration with leadership to drive excellence in production.

The position expects hands-on troubleshooting across PLCs, electrical and hydraulic systems, and a commitment to continuous improvement.

Qualifications

• Education as listed: one-year certificate or equivalently experienced candidate.
• Experience: 3+ years for Maintenance Technician III.
• Forklift license preferred where applicable.

Responsibilities

• Perform standard maintenance safely by following all safety rules and procedures.
• Inspect and repair plant equipment (mechanical, welding, carpentry, electrical, instrumentation, and controls).
• Document accurate maintenance activity records.
• Clean and maintain assigned areas and tools.
• Participate in continuous improvement processes.
• Report incidents, near misses, and any non-conformances through proper channels.
• Crosstrain on other production functions as needed.
• Perform Preventative Maintenance Program to ensure accuracy.
