Job summary

The Mennel Milling Company in North Carolina is seeking a Maintenance Technician to support plant equipment reliability and food safety programs, contributing to quality and service. This role will help sustain our tradition of excellence by maintaining and improving processing systems to ensure safe, efficient operations.

We are looking for candidates with a high school diploma and technical training; 5+ years of maintenance experience in flour milling or related manufacturing is preferred.

Qualifications

• High school diploma and a 2-year technical degree or equivalent.
• Valid driver’s license.
• 5+ years of maintenance experience in flour milling, food processing, or related manufacturing preferred.
• Experience with electrical/mechanical troubleshooting.

Responsibilities

• Follow GMP, OSHA, HACCP and FDA guidelines and attend required training.
• Repair and maintain plant equipment to improve reliability and performance.
• Troubleshoot mechanical and electrical problems and implement durable fixes.
• Operate tools and fabricate/repair parts; weld as needed.
• Document repairs and order replacement parts via work orders.
