Job summary

Bob Evans Farms, Inc. is seeking an experienced maintenance technician to perform advanced mechanical maintenance in our Idaho facility. You will preventively maintain complex equipment, install and troubleshoot systems, and ensure safety and production continuity.

The role requires basic electrical/mechanical knowledge, PLC troubleshooting, welding, and HVAC/plumbing skills, with potential overtime and travel as needed.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED is required; 3+ years industrial equipment experience preferred.
• Basic electrical/mechanical knowledge and ability to read schematics.
• Welding, boiler safety, and plumbing/HVAC knowledge are desirable.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventative and predictive maintenance on complex mechanical equipment.
• Install, replace, and troubleshoot mechanical and distribution systems with minimal supervision.
• Dismantle machinery and repair electrical or mechanical parts; follow safety codes.
• Inspect equipment daily and support production startup and coverage tasks.
• Troubleshoot PLC, electrical, mechanical, pneumatic or hydraulic components.
