Job summary

Post Holdings, Inc. in Rigby, Idaho is looking for a Mechanical Maintenance Technician responsible for performing a variety of advanced mechanical maintenance services. The technician will address complex mechanical equipment issues, install, replace, and troubleshoot systems while adhering to established safety procedures.

The ideal candidate must possess basic electrical and mechanical knowledge, a High School diploma or G.E.D, and have at least three years of industrial equipment experience. The role demands the capacity to work in various environmental conditions and possibly overtime when necessary.

Qualifications

• Must be familiar with electrical schematics.
• Ability to work in dusty, noisy, and fume-filled environments.
• Ability to lift up to 100 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventative and predictive maintenance on mechanical equipment.
• Fabricate and assemble equipment, including welding and pipe fitting.
• Troubleshoot and repair PLC, electrical, mechanical, and hydraulic components.

Skills

Basic electrical/mechanical knowledge

Troubleshooting PLC’s

Basic boiler safety knowledge

Welding and plumbing skills

Understanding of lock-out/tag-out procedures

Hydraulic/pneumatic equipment knowledge

Education

High School diploma or G.E.D
