Job summary

ASR Group seeks a Maintenance Team Manager for Chalmette, LA. You will oversee all site maintenance activities, lead a team of supervisors and hourly staff, and drive safety, reliability, and product quality goals.

The role requires 5+ years in maintenance/engineering/ops supervision; union experience is a plus. A high school diploma is required, a Bachelor's degree is preferred. Strong leadership, planning, and communication skills are essential, with willingness to work overtime.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in maintenance, engineering, or operations management/supervision.
• Supervisory experience in a union environment preferred.

Responsibilities

• Manage all maintenance-related activities at the site.
• Participate in safety programs to improve and enforce procedures.
• Direct maintenance resources to meet safety, health and environmental regulations.
• Develop and empower employees.
• Initiate root cause analysis of equipment failures and develop repair/PM plans.
• Implement predictive and preventive maintenance to reduce unplanned downtime and improve reliability.
• Evaluate program effectiveness and adjust for optimum reliability/cost benefits.
• Evaluate personnel performance and provide feedback and growth opportunities.
• Promote team spirit through communication and timely problem resolution.
