Job summary

ASR Group in Louisiana is seeking a Maintenance Team Manager to provide technical leadership and coordinate the maintenance department to improve equipment reliability at the lowest sustainable cost. You will develop predictive and preventive maintenance programs, supervise 8+ maintenance supervisors and 60+ hourly staff, and drive safety, reliability, quality and continuous improvement across the site.

The job requires 5+ years in maintenance or operations management and a Bachelor’s degree

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years in maintenance, engineering, or operations management/supervision.
• Experience in supervision within a union environment preferred.
• Bachelor's degree preferred; strong business acumen and leadership skills.

Responsibilities

• Manage all maintenance-related activities at the site.
• Participate in safety programs to improve procedures and policies.
• Direct and manage maintenance resources to meet safety, health, and environmental standards.
• Develop and empower employees; implement root cause analysis for failures.
• Establish predictive and preventive maintenance programs to improve reliability.
• Implement change management and standardize work processes.
• Periodically evaluate program effectiveness and adjust for optimum reliability/cost.
• Evaluate performance and provide feedback and growth opportunities.
• Promote team spirit with open communication and timely problem resolution.
