Job summary

Flowers Foods, Inc. is seeking an Industrial Maintenance Supervisor to oversee hourly maintenance staff, ensure PMs are performed, and drive safe, efficient plant operations. You will collaborate with plant leaders and manage routine maintenance while upholding safety and quality standards.

The role requires a background in industrial maintenance, leadership, and PLC/SAP proficiency, with a focus on continuous improvement and team development in a fast-paced bakery environment.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of proven leadership or supervisory experience in industrial maintenance.
• Knowledge in industrial electrical wiring, PLC troubleshooting, motor control, and equipment repair/install.
• Bachelor’s degree in engineering or related field preferred; high school diploma acceptable.

Responsibilities

• Maintain the floor on shift; schedule and manage hourly staff, execute PMs.
• Coordinate shift handoffs with prior/next shifts.
• Review parts requests and track parts checked out on shift.
• Use SAP to review work requests, PM orders, and update breakdowns.
• Lead small maintenance projects.
• Maintain shift reports and plan for next day."
• Conduct employee reviews and coach technicians and apprentices.
• Ensure safety and compliance with company policies and procedures.
