Job summary

Flowers Foods, Inc. is seeking a skilled maintenance supervisor to manage shift-based activities in Lewiston, ME. You will lead technicians, oversee preventive maintenance, coordinate parts requests, and use SAP for work orders and notifications.

The role requires strong leadership, hands-on electrical knowledge, and experience with PLCs and motor control. A engineering-related degree or equivalent experience is acceptable, with a track record of safety and regulatory compliance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering is preferred or high school diploma with relevant experience.
• 2+ years of leadership or supervisory experience in industrial maintenance.

Responsibilities

• Maintain the floor on shift: schedule and manage hourly staff, oversee PMs, and manage line calls.
• Communicate shift prep/meetings with adjacent shifts and review parts requests.
• Use SAP to review work requests, PM orders, and update breakdown notifications.
• Execute small maintenance projects and plan next-day activities.
• Train and coach technicians, conduct reviews, and ensure safety compliance.
• Demonstrate leadership, problem solving, and time management.
