Job summary

Vertiv in Pelzer, SC, seeks a Maintenance Supervisor to lead daily plant maintenance, directing technicians to sustain high production efficiency and safety compliance. You will be the SME for Vertiv OS and CMMS, coordinate preventive maintenance, manage inventory, report shift activities, and partner with Operations, Planning and Engineering to keep equipment and facilities running smoothly.

This role requires 3–5 years of maintenance management, a related degree, and the ability to lift 45

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a related field is required.
• 3–5 years of facility, mechanical, or electrical maintenance experience.
• 3–5 years of management experience.
• Knowledge of electrical and building codes.
• Knowledge of NFPA, EPA, and OSHA regulations.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to lift more than 45 pounds.
• Ability to stand for extended periods.

Responsibilities

• Supervise Machine Maintenance Technicians.
• Monitor and train team members while ensuring safety compliance.
• Serve as the local subject matter expert for the Vertiv Operating System and report maintenance metrics.
• Serve as the subject matter expert for the computerized maintenance management system.
• Assist with preventive maintenance scheduling and ensure work orders are completed on time.
• Support reliable operation of plant equipment, machinery, building systems, and infrastructure.
• Coordinate maintenance across electronic, electrical, and mechanical systems.
