Job summary

Digital Room in Solon, OH is seeking a Maintenance Supervisor to lead the maintenance team, oversee preventive and corrective maintenance, and minimize production downtime across the plant.

You will diagnose equipment issues, plan and document maintenance activities, ensure OSHA safety compliance, and mentor operators on proper equipment operation while coordinating with production, engineering, and outside vendors as needed.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; technical certification or associate degree in industrial maintenance, electrical technology, mechanical engineering technology, or related field.
• Proven experience in industrial or machine maintenance with leadership/supervisory experience.
• Strong mechanical and electrical aptitude with understanding of machine operation and control systems.
• Proficiency with hand tools, diagnostic equipment, and testing instruments.
• Knowledge of electrical systems, hydraulics, pneumatics, motors, drives, and automated production equipment.
• Knowledge of OSHA safety requirements including lockout/tagout procedures.
• Strong leadership, organizational, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, schematics, manuals, and equipment documentation.
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills across departments.
• Ability to manage competing priorities and respond to urgent maintenance needs.
• Physical stamina to lift heavy objects and work in various positions.
• Flexibility to work rotating shifts and emergency maintenance when required.

Responsibilities

• Lead, train, and support the maintenance team while promoting a safe, productive, and accountable work environment.
• Assign and prioritize daily maintenance activities, preventive maintenance tasks, and emergency repairs.
• Monitor team performance and provide coaching, feedback, and technical guidance.
• Coordinate maintenance coverage to support production schedules and minimize equipment downtime.
• Oversee routine inspections and preventive maintenance on machinery and equipment.
• Diagnose equipment malfunctions and perform repairs to restore functionality.
• Maintain accurate maintenance records and parts inventory.
• Collaborate with production, engineering, and plant leadership to resolve complex problems and improve performance.
• Recommend upgrades and process improvements to increase reliability and efficiency.
• Develop and enforce maintenance procedures, guidelines, and schedules.
• Manage the preventive maintenance program and budget considerations.
