Job summary

Blue Polymers is seeking a Maintenance Supervisor to lead the plant's maintenance team across compounding, recycling, wash lines, and related systems. You will schedule, mentor, and coordinate technicians and contractors, ensure preventive maintenance, and drive safe, compliant operations on shift.

You will maintain equipment service history, review timekeeping, and partner with production to minimize downtime while upholding Blue Polymers safety rules and 7S standards.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; mechanical degree preferred.
• 3–5 years of industrial, manufacturing or recycling maintenance supervisor experience preferred.
• Working knowledge of Dayforce timekeeping system.
• Computer data entry skills and proficiency with Word/Excel/PowerPoint.
• Excellent interpersonal people management and problem-solving skills.
• Detail oriented and ability to prioritize.
• Ability to multi-task and perform root cause analysis.
• Must be able to operate a forklift.

Responsibilities

• Supervise, schedule, and coordinate maintenance technicians and contractors.
• Ensure preventive maintenance activities are completed according to schedules.
• Oversee troubleshooting and repair of mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems.
• Support machine uptime and minimize downtime through proactive maintenance.
• Ensure maintenance activities comply with OSHA and safety standards.
• Coordinate maintenance with production and operations teams.
• Maintain maintenance records, work orders, and equipment history.
• Support continuous improvement initiatives for equipment reliability.
• Review and approve maintenance employee timesheets and payroll entries.
• Staffing coverage for all shifts, weekends, and special projects.
