Job summary

Veolia Environnement SA is seeking a Maintenance Manager for the Burnside facility in the United States. The role leads maintenance teams, drives safety/compliance, and oversees turnarounds and capital projects, working closely with operations to optimize reliability and performance.

The incumbent will mentor staff, manage budgets, and champion SAP-based maintenance improvements, with a focus on incident investigations and contractor management to ensure safe, efficient operations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or equivalent
• 10+ years in chemical/petrochemical operations in maintenance/operations
• 5+ years supervisory experience in manufacturing

Responsibilities

• Lead maintenance and Safety, Health, and Environmental initiatives at Burnside facility.
• Mentor direct reports and oversee their training and development.
• Drive maintenance best practices and SAP usage to improve efficiency and quality.
• Plan, budget, and execute bi‑annual turnarounds including contracting and cost control.
• Manage maintenance spending and contracts including labor, overtime, and materials.
• Collaborate with Operations to ensure alignment and lead incident investigations.
