Job summary

Ameren Missouri is seeking a Manager, Maintenance to optimize electrical and mechanical equipment availability through a robust maintenance program. You will lead plant maintenance activities, ensure safety, coach supervisors, and align with regulatory and corporate policies.

The role requires a BS degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering with 5+ years' maintenance experience, supervisory leadership, and strong knowledge of union contracts.

Qualifications

• BS degree in mechanical or electrical engineering; other BS with extensive maintenance exp considered.
• 5+ years in maintenance with plant experience preferred.
• 5+ years supervisory experience; familiarity with bargaining unit reports preferred.
• Knowledge of fossil plant operation, safety, and regulatory compliance.
• Strong leadership, communication, and decision-making abilities.

Responsibilities

• Direct and coordinate plant maintenance with Operations and Technical Support.
• Lead supervisors, coach staff, and manage performance evaluations.
• Maintain safe working environment; improve safety and working conditions.
• Manage union relationships and contract adherence.
• Drive continuous improvement to reduce waste and faults.
