Job summary

Ameren Missouri is seeking a Supervising Engineer to lead commissioning engineers and own the development, engineering, and support of commissioning plans for start-up of new and refurbished equipment. You will drive safety, schedule, and reporting while coordinating with Power Operations, Renewables, and Customer Operations.

Qualified candidates have a BS/MS in engineering, 10+ years of experience, and strong leadership skills. P.E.

Qualifications

• Bachelor or Masters degree in Engineering is required.
• Electrical or Mechanical Engineering preferred.
• P.E. license and PMP certification preferred.
• 10+ years of relevant experience including leadership roles.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage a team of commissioning engineers.
• Foster safety and zero unsafe acts, promoting safety as top priority.
• Provide leadership for commissioning plans for start-up of new/refurbished equipment.
• Serve as commissioning authority for site plans per policies.
• Ensure commissioning activities are scheduled and reported.
• Allocate resources and remove obstacles to meet goals.
• Build cross‑team trust and strategic vision for the team.
• Support Power Operations, Renewables, and Customer Operations as needed.
