Job summary

Ameren Missouri is seeking a Manager, Maintenance to optimize the availability of electrical and mechanical equipment across the Energy Center. The role ensures safe, cost-efficient operations by directing plant maintenance activities and coordinating with Operations and Technical Support.

The ideal candidate holds a BS in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering with 5+ years of maintenance and supervisory experience, and a strong ability to lead teams, manage performance, and uphold safety and

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science degree required; Mechanical or Electrical preferred.
• Five or more years of maintenance experience; supervisory experience required.
• Power plant maintenance experience preferred; union environment experience is a plus.
• Ability to communicate effectively, lead others, and manage performance.

Responsibilities

• Provide general direction and coordination with Operations and Technical Support for all plant maintenance activities.
• Ensure maintenance work is safe, efficient, cost-effective, and within specs.
• Lead supervisors, coach, and develop staff; implement performance metrics.
• Maintain safety culture and participate in safety committees; improve working conditions.
• Coordinate with Local 148 and manage contract leverage; participate in grievance processes.
• Drive initiatives to improve maintenance processes and reduce waste.
