Job summary

AZZ Inc. in St. Louis, MO, is seeking a Maintenance Manager to lead the maintenance staff in preventive and reactive maintenance to maximize production and equipment reliability.

You will manage electrical, mechanical and pneumatic systems, coordinate with outside vendors, ensure safety standards, train new technicians, and report directly to the Plant Manager. The ideal candidate has hands-on maintenance leadership experience in manufacturing.

Qualifications

• 1–2 years related experience required.
• Electrical and mechanical knowledge required.
• Capable of lifting up to 50 lbs.
• High School diploma or equivalent is required.
• Industrial Maintenance program completion strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Leads and assists maintenance staff to conduct preventive and breakdown maintenance.
• Schedules, supervises and inspects maintenance work for safety and specifications.
• Ensures availability of maintenance equipment, materials, parts and tools.
• Trains new employees in procedures and standards.
• Counsels employees and supports skill development.
• Monitors work levels and reviews performance.
