Job summary

Shasta Beverages, Inc. in Kansas is seeking a Maintenance Manager to oversee safe maintenance, repair, and replacement of plant equipment and systems, ensuring maximum production quality while supporting company goals.

The role requires leading and training a team of mechanics, enforcing HACCP and GMPs, coordinating preventive maintenance, and collaborating with the Production Manager to reduce downtime and improve processes.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, SCM, Logistics, or equivalent.
• 7–10 years of experience in related field; beverage industry preferred.
• Strong computer skills including Microsoft Office and reporting software.
• Ability to read schematics; PLC experience preferred.
• Lean Manufacturing, 5S, and Kaizen knowledge.
• OSHA knowledge and training.
• Excellent interpersonal and verbal communication skills.
• Must be 18+ and able to pass drug test and physical exam.

Responsibilities

• Supervise, train, and cross-train mechanics in all areas of the operation.
• Practice safe work habits; follow lock-out/tag-out procedures; complete OSHA training.
• Respond to maintenance calls from line supervisors or operators.
• Perform package change-overs on equipment as required.
• Schedule preventative maintenance on equipment.
• Participate in daily meetings and report maintenance objectives.
• Work with Production Manager to analyze downtime data to prevent issues.
• Enforce HACCP and GMPs to deliver quality products.
• Improve processes by studying and redesigning where needed.
• Develop and schedule preventive maintenance and change-overs.
• Direct, maintain and enforce the safety program for maintenance.
• Update knowledge through education and professional networks.
• Ensure fair, equitable treatment of all employees.
• Other duties as assigned by the Plant Manager.
