Job summary

Shasta Beverages, Inc. is seeking a Maintenance Manager to oversee the safe maintenance, repair, or replacement of plant equipment and systems, ensuring maximum production quality and quantity while supporting company goals.

You will supervise and train mechanics, enforce HACCP and GMPs, lead downtime analyses with the Production Manager, and drive preventive maintenance, safety programs, and continuous improvement.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, supply chain management, logistics, or equivalent.
• 7–10 years of experience in related field; beverage industry preferred.
• Strong computer skills, including Microsoft Office and various reporting software.
• Ability to read schematics; PLC experience is preferred.
• Lean Manufacturing, 5S, and Kaizen knowledge; OSHA laws and training.
• Excellent interpersonal and verbal communication; strong business acumen.

Responsibilities

• Supervise, train, and cross-train mechanics.
• Enforce safety practices and OSHA training; manage lock-out/tag-out.
• Respond to repair calls and schedule preventative maintenance.
• Coordinate change-overs and monitor downtime data with Production Manager.
• Ensure HACCP and GMP compliance; maintain quality standards.
• Lead safety program and update knowledge through training.
• Support continuous improvement in processes and equipment efficiency.
• Ensure fair treatment of employees.
• Perform other duties as assigned by Plant Manager.

Education

Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, supply chain management, logistics, or equivalent from an accredited university
