Job summary

Graham Packaging Company in Tennessee is seeking a Maintenance Manager to lead plant maintenance, enforce safety and quality standards, and drive efficiency improvements. You will partner with Engineering to implement equipment upgrades and manage a maintenance budget while developing shift personnel and coordinating with vendors.

The role requires a Bachelor's degree or equivalent maintenance experience, plus 5+ years in a supervisory capacity within manufacturing.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or related maintenance experience required.
• Minimum five years in a maintenance supervisory/management role in manufacturing.
• Strong leadership and interpersonal skills are essential.

Responsibilities

• Lead plant maintenance and coordinate with other departments to meet quality, cost and schedule goals.
• Enforce safety, health, quality, GMP and company policies across the plant.
• Participate in staff, shift and safety meetings; conduct departmental training.
• Develop methods to optimize manufacturing efficiency and reduce costs.
• Collaborate with Engineering on equipment improvements to boost performance.
• Investigate breakdowns and implement programs to prevent recurrence.
• Control maintenance budget and reduce unnecessary purchases by addressing root causes.
• Recruit, train and develop shift personnel to meet departmental goals.
• Interface with vendors and plant visitors; may handle special projects.
• Travel up to 25% may be required.
