Job summary

Graham Packaging in Prattville, Alabama is seeking a Maintenance Manager to lead plant maintenance and coordinate with other departments to produce quality products on schedule.

The role requires a Bachelor's degree or related maintenance experience with at least five years in a supervisory or management capacity in manufacturing. You will enforce safety, health, quality GMP practices, manage the maintenance budget, and drive continuous improvement with engineering, vendors, and plant teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree and/or related maintenance experience; 5+ years in maintenance supervisory/management in manufacturing.

Responsibilities

• Maintain safety, health, quality GMP and Company policies and procedures.
• Follow and enforce all established policies and procedures.
• Participate in staff, shift and safety meetings and conduct departmental trainings.
• Participate in plant operational planning meetings.
• Develop methods to optimize manufacturing efficiency and reduce costs.
• Coordinate with Engineering on machinery improvements to increase performance and reduce costs.
• Investigate breakdowns and implement preventive solutions.
• Control maintenance budget to optimize funds and reduce repetitive purchases.
• Select, train and develop shift personnel to meet department goals.
• Meet with vendors and plant visitors.
• May lead special projects in other areas.
• Travel 0-25% may be required.
