Job summary

Crown Holdings, Inc. is seeking a Maintenance Manager to lead plant maintenance across all areas, directing teams to ensure reliable, cost-efficient operations.

You will design preventive and predictive programs, manage budgets, and drive safety and continuous improvement in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. The role requires strong TPM knowledge, leadership, and the ability to coordinate with Operations, Engineering, and Quality to improve asset performance and uptime in a large metal

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Industrial Technology, Maintenance Management, or a related field.
• Five or more years of progressive maintenance experience in a manufacturing environment, including supervisory or management responsibilities.
• Demonstrated knowledge of Total Productive Maintenance (TPM), preventive and predictive maintenance programs and equipment reliability principles.
• Strong technical knowledge of high-speed manufacturing equipment, mechanical systems, hydraulic and pneumatic systems, and related facilities.
• Working knowledge of maintenance management systems (CMMS) and maintenance planning and scheduling processes.
• Proven leadership and experience influencing hourly team members.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills across all levels of the organization.
• Experience managing maintenance budgets, capital projects, and vendor relationships.

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and maintain preventive and predictive maintenance programs to maximize equipment reliability and minimize downtime.
• Lead, develop, and direct maintenance personnel and storeroom staff to support plant objectives.
• Foster teamwork, accountability, safety, and continuous improvement across departments.
• Influence leaders and employees to drive operational performance and plant goals.
• Ensure compliance with safety, environmental, and regulatory requirements.
• Manage maintenance budgets, labor resources, contractor services, and expenditures.
• Oversee spare parts inventory and storeroom operations for timely materials and cost control.
• Plan and oversee capital projects, equipment installations, and facility improvements.
• Partner with Operations, Engineering, Quality and Safety to identify improvement opportunities.
• Lead troubleshooting and root cause investigations to reduce recurring failures.
