Job summary

The Kroger Co. is seeking an experienced Plant Maintenance Supervisor to lead maintenance and project execution, ensuring safety, quality, reliability, and customer-first performance.

You will supervise craft resources, coach staff, enforce OSHA/EPA/FDA compliance, and drive PM/PPM programs while coordinating with the maintenance planner. Strong analytical skills and CMMS proficiency are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering or related field with 6+ years in food maintenance.
• Knowledge of GMP, EPA and OSHA requirements.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and CMMS.
• Advanced analytical skills.

Responsibilities

• Oversee safe, efficient use of all supervised craft resources.
• Direct and coach maintenance staff; perform performance reviews.
• Ensure compliance with OSHA, EPA, FDA, NEC regulations.
• Direct maintenance work quality, duration, and costs.
• Audit PPM work orders and ensure accuracy.
• Review labor, materials, and priorities in pre-planned jobs.
• Develop team skills and match assignments to abilities.
• Maintain housekeeping and safe work practices.
• Provide leadership in troubleshooting equipment.
• Report all labor, parts and work in CMMS daily.
• Support SQF 2000 System improvements.
• Align with Kroger Manufacturing Food Safety and Quality Principles.
